Mickelson & McNealy Set Sights on PGA Championship

KPMG Brand Ambassadors in search of major title at Kiawah Island

KPMG Brand Ambassadors Phil Mickelson and Maverick McNealy will be in action this week as they compete in the PGA Championship at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, one of four major tournaments on the PGA Tour schedule. The course is set to play as the longest of any golf course in major championship history.

Mickelson has played the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island one other time in his career, finishing 36th in the 2012 PGA Championship. He won the event in 2005 when it was held at Baltusrol Golf Club. Lefty will be competing in a featured group with Jason Day and Padraig Harrington. He will look to capture his sixth major championship when he tees off at 1:14pm ET on Thursday and 7:49am ET on Friday.

The PGA Championship marks Maverick McNealy's first major championship as a professional. He has six Top-25 finishes on the season, including a T4 last month at the RBC Heritage.

"I've been working hard on the driver and of course those 5-10 footers which are so important in major championships," McNealy said. "I'm really excited to get out there."

Maverick will be in search of his first PGA Tour victory when he tees off at 2:15pm ET on Thursday and 8:50am ET on Friday.

On the LPGA front, KPMG Brand Ambassadors Stacy Lewis, Mariah Stackhouse, and Leona Maguire will all be competing in the Pure Silk Championship.
