After two rounds of play at the Wells Fargo Championship, KPMG Ambassador Phil Mickelson find himself three strokes off of the lead heading into Saturday. He's currently at -3 on the tournament after leading the field on Thursday.
Mickelson is very comfortable competing at Quail Hollow Golf Course. He's competed in the Wells Fargo Championship seventeen times and has ten top-10 finishes, the most by any golfer in the field by three finishes. He also owns the longest 36-hole cuts made streak with 16 consecutive cuts made.
"This course also holds my attention because of the great mixture of holes." Mickelson said. "You get excited to play each hole because you have some really good birdie opportunities and then you have some holes that are really hard pars. It's not monotonous at all."
Mickelson tees off at 12:55pm ET on Saturday. Follow @MickelsonHat on Twitter for updates on Phil's performance at the Wells Fargo Championship. Go Team KPMG!
