Klara Spilkova - KPMG Czech Republic

Klára Spilková was born December 15, 1994 in Pague Czech Republic. As an amateur, she won a number of significant tournaments and was crowned the Czech Republic‘s Golf Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010. Then, as a permanent member of the Czech National Golf Team, she won both the International Championship of Austria and the Junior Championship of Germany in 2010.

2010 marked a turning point for Spilková; when as a 16-year old she gained her player card for the Ladies European Tour, thus becoming the youngest participant in the tour’s modern history. The following year, Spilková ranked within the top five of the Rolex Rookie of the Year competition after three top 10 finishes. She has continued to play well, racking up an additional top 10 finish since 2013 and finishing the 2015 LET season ranked 21st in points.

In 2016, Spilková was granted an exemption to the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship marking her third career LPGA major championship. Later that summer, she represented the Czech Republic and finished T-48 at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This event was the first time golf was played at the Games since 1904.

KPMG has sponsored Spilková since the spring of 2016. Her other partners include Volvo, Bogner, Titleist and others.
