Stacy, Mariah, Olafia and Klara all competing in same LPGA event for the first time
Last week, KPMG Iceland, along with KPMG brand ambassador and LPGA professional Olafia Kristinsdottir, hosted the second annual KPMG Olafia Kristinsdottir Charity Outing at Keilir Golf Club in Hafnarfjodur, Iceland. The event, which consisted of 14 groups and more than 60 participants, raised $30,000 for local Icelandic charities.

KPMG Brand Ambassadors and professional golfers Stacy Lewis, Mariah Stackhouse, Olafia Kristinsdottir and Klara Spilkova will all be in action this week as the LPGA Tour heads to Williamsburg, VA, for the Kingsmill Championship presented by GEICO.
Lewis, Stackhouse and Kristinsdottir all enter the Kingsmill rested and ready to go. Lewis’ best career result at the Kingsmill came in 2013, when she finished T-5 at -9, three shots back of winner Cristie Kerr. Stackhouse and Kristinsdottir both competed in the Kingsmill for the first time in 2017, with Mariah finishing T-60 and Olafia missing the cut.
Spilkova will be making her season debut on the LPGA Tour this week after a solid start to her LET season. Klara has garnered two Top-15 finishes in six starts on the Ladies European Tour in 2018, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Lalla Meryem Cup, which she won in 2017.

“I was blown away by how kind everyone was and how excited they were to play golf,” said AJ Newell after finishing her round. “It was an honor to be a part of this event. It was amazing.”
“I’ve known Olafia for eight years now, and ever since we met, she had told me so much about Iceland, so it’s great to finally be able to come out for the first time and see how beautiful it is,” said Cheyenne Woods, who played collegiately with Olafia at Wake Forest University. “As professional athletes, we have very influential platform. It’s great to see Olafia giving back to her country and community, and it’s special to see the support she has received from the golf community.”
