KPMG Blue for Books Program

Golf Brand Ambassadors fight illiteracy through their blue tour hats.

The KPMG Blue for Books program is a subset of the KPMG Family for Literacy program, supported by KPMG Golf Ambassadors Phil Mickelson, Stacy Lewis, Mariah Stackhouse and Maverick McNealy. With each sale of an ambassador's blue hat, three books are donated to children in need. Since the inception of Blue for Books in 2012, 250,000 books have been donated through the program.

In addition to the hat sale donations, the Blue for Books program also provides for children in need through the Inspiring Win program. Every time a KPMG Golf Ambassador wins a professional golf tournament, an elementary school in the market of the tournament receives an enhanced library, providing new books, furniture and school supplies. Through the Inspiring Win program, KPMG has refurbished 14 school libraries across the country.
